Trials of a Hero

Face down
On the ground
Losing the fight
For what is right
The times you've bleed
Has made you envy the dead
This surrender
Has become a war ender

Because of your retreat
Your unofficial defeat
Evil now roams free
Before whom, all flee
drops of blood
form into floods
you close your eyes
to the worlds demise

You finally stop crying
When you hear all the dying
Time to stop the hate
By challenging fate
Your broken heart
Just needed a kickstart
Your fuse has been lit
Anger risin' just a bit

Your blood pumpin,
Heart thumpin'
In a state of fear
Because death is so near
Take the final shot
This will hurt them a lot
You used to be a zero
Now your a hero
