EPILOGUE.

Mea tried to wake Mifune up for lunch. Or, she had been meaning too. Like most people, at this point she was frantically shaking him, trying to believe he was just sleeping.

Jirou was as hyper as ever, bouncing around the place... screaming.... he was Jirou -- it couldn't be helped.

Kota just sighed at him and nommed his sandwich.

"ICANTBELIEVEIKILLEDHERRRRR." he shreiked.

(this is two years later, y'know. mifune's dead already)

{Jirou's still depressed... in his own way.}

Noemi banged her head into the table. At twelve, she was tired of this CRAP CAKE!.

"It feels so lonely, now.." Jirou mumbled, looking as depressed as ever... once again... in his own way.

"M-mifune" She said sobbing
"...he's dead. help."

Jirou stopped immediately, at that. He rushed over to Mea.

She curled up next to the wall, and pointed into the bedroom.

Jirou was whimpering away, too afraid to go inside.

"Goooooo" She said, poking him with her foot.

Jirou was screeching, shaking his head. "I CAN'T, I CAN'T!" he exclaimed, cowering away in mass fear.

{Alrighty... skip to a flashback?
We have to fill in the gaps for what came after the entire Mia-Lancelot-Mifune thing. 'Cause she'd said she had problems getting used to Mifune again.
It'd be nice to fill in these gaps. XP}

Flashback tiem!
This problem will get solved later.

Mia couldn't help but sleep on the couch, every single night, playing the knife away at her arms and legs as often as she could. Times she'd even stab it in, and never bother after. Too much regret.

Mea was seriously considering stealing all her knives.
She told her this.

But then there was this specific day. Late in the middle of the night.. everyone was asleep.. the feeling of lonelyness with no one to comfort her. She was dressed as she'd been the entire day, unwilling to change or shower off until morning. A knife was set over her chest, as she carefully cut patterns down to her stomach, then over that same scarred arm.
The couch had most certainly become stained with her blood.
She'd been here for almost an entire year -- without sleeping even once with the love one of whom she called Mifune.

Mifune walked out one night, and joined her on the couch.
He gave her a shy kiss on the forehead.

She had scars all over, and they were clearly visible.
But at the kiss, she inched away shamefully.

Suddenly, he tilted her head up and gave her a kiss just like before...just stronger, hungrier. He'd missed her.

She carefully set her hands to his chest, slowly pushing him away, pain pulsing through every single part of her. Them stupid tears, again...

He placed a big warm hand on her face.
"It's alright...you and I have punished you enough."

She shook her head in reply. "No, Mifune.."

He kissed her again.
