Awaiting Death -- Got my Idea from the book "Life As We Knew It"

A comet hit
A sounding split
In the sky
It hurt the eye
To see the Moon
So close at noon
To the Earth
A rebirth

The Moon knocked off its orbit
Raising the tides bit by bit
The world is coming to an end
Life is death around the bend
The astronomers were wrong
Now life will soon be gone

New York is flooded
Miami's gone
And so is
My lawn

I am scared,
As life is dared.
Awaiting death,
I lost my breath.

Once again, I still love this poem!
And as mentioned, especially that "and so is, my lawn" part.

Yeah that's my favorite part! I couldn't think of anything else XP
